How much memory (RAM) should my computer have for best performance?

The more memory you have the better. Although you may be able to play the video with 512MB of memory or less, your experience will not be as good as when you have at least 1GB of memory on a Windows PC. Mac OSX 10.x Power PC needs at least 1 GB of memory and Mac OSX 10.x Intel needs at least 2 GB of memory. If you have low memory, the video player cannot render the video fast enough on your computer. So, you’ll see choppiness and stuttering. Optimize your experience by viewing this player on a computer with at least 1GB of memory.

Technical Problems

Connection Speed and Data Rates

Check the speed of your connection by using the settings option at the bottom left of the player. You will need a constant minimum speed of 200kbps, 400kbps for ADSL and 800kbps or 1800kbps for Broadband. The faster your connection, the better quality of video we can give you.

Streaming Error

First try temporarily switching off your Norton or Norton Spam filters. If you experience constant buffering or streaming errors, go to the settings option at the bottom left of the player and select a lower bitrate setting, then click 'confirm'. If that does not help, select a different server from the media servers drop-down list, then click 'confirm'. This will stream your content from a different server, which may be less busy.

Firewalls

Firewalls can stop or slow down the speed of your connection. Configure them to open the relevant ports to enable streaming or contact your IT support.

The Player page is not fully visible?

Adjust the screen resolution. Right click on the desktop, select properties, click on the setting tab then locate the screen settings resolution and increase the screen resolution to at least 1024x768.
Or from the Start menu select Settings then Control Panel. Then under "Appearance and Themes" or the Screen / Monitor controls locate the resolution settings and increase the screen resolution to at least 1024x768.

The video stopped playing. I clicked the PLAY button. But after a little while, it stopped playing again. What should I do?

The bitrate may be too high for your current internet connection. Since internet download speeds could vary over the course of a browser session, the video bitrate will need to be adjusted.
Go to the SETTINGS tab. Make a note of the current bitrate being used. Select the next lower bitrate setting. Click CONFIRM. Try that and see if the video playout improves. If it continues to happen, lower the bitrate one more level.
